Hi! I'm Nirali - part-time podiatrist, part-time budding full-stack developer. I started working as a podiatrist at the start of 2021 and started my coding journey in 2022 after leaving one of my podiatry jobs. I've since picked up several languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework, and have recently completed the She Codes Plus course in Perth. When I'm not at work, you'll find me at a dance class, a wine bar, or a comedy club. Or, if you catch me at my best, in a quiet corner of my house, in a fluffy robe, 15 episodes deep into a TV show I started 8 hours ago.

A landing page I created using basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. My first foray into the world of coding!
Initially coded using HTML, CSS and Vanilla JS, this weather app was later converted to a React project (linked below). I used more advanced HTML and CSS techniques (including Bootstrap) and learned to integrate an API (OpenWeather) into the application.
Built as part of She Codes Plus course, this project involved integrating a backend (built using Django Rest Framework) and a frontend (built using React). Users are able to view, create, edit and delete projects (limited by permissions), and pledge to a project.
The second major project as part of She Codes Plus, this project is a 'comparison shopping list'. Users are able to create private collections and products, and favourite items to add to their final shopping list. Also built using Django Rest Framework and React. Work in progress.
Built as part of the Udemy ZTM React course, this eCommerce site is a work in progress. This application integrates Firebase and will eventually include the Stripe API. This site also uses more advanced React principles (Redux) and CSS techniques such as Sass and Styled Components.
This one is a personal React project aimed at integrating several different small applications into one React app. This application is not yet ready for production.
